Let’s get to the Philadelphia Eagles links ... NFL Week 3 Sunday Standouts: Defense - PFFCB Jalen Mills Womens Destiny Vaeao Jersey , Philadelphia Eagles, 84.4 Overall Grade. Mills was very active throughout the day, finishing with three pass breakups on the six throws in his coverage. His two pass interference penalties against T.Y. Hilton brought his grade down a bit, but ultimately, he only allowed eight yards in his coverage on the day. Across 42 snaps in coverage, that pegs him at an impressive 0.19 yards per coverage snap.Doug Pederson gives updates on Jay Ajayi, Darren Sproles, and Alshon Jeffery - BGNPLUS: The Eagles head coach talked about the close Week 3 victory, and what they have to do heading into the Titans matchup.Fletcher Cox attributes his jump in play this season to Chris Long - PhillyVoice“I think the biggest thing for me is that they challenge me every day, in practice and games, and I listened,” Cox said. “My teammates challenged me, and I respect Chris Long so much. The thing about Chris is that he challenged me every single day. It just raises the bar for me as a player.Three moments that defined Carson Wentz’s comeback - ESPNWentz called it a “normal scramble” and “pretty standard” for how he plays the game, and that’s true. But to have both the willingness and ability to do that in your first game back is no small thing. ”It changes the game, it extends drives,” center Jason Kelce said. “We were one of the best third-down offenses in the NFL with him in there. It’s just another dynamic the defenses have to [deal with]. It’s definitely a dynamic that helps us be successful on offense, and that’s one of the reasons he is a special player.” Running back Corey Clement agreed. ”Yep, that’s Carson Corey Graham Jersey ,” Clement said. “You have to take the leash off him. That guy ... he’s always wired to do something great.”Fletcher Cox Deserves League-Wide Respect - PE.comA player with three Pro Bowls and three All-Pro seasons on his r茅sum茅, Fletcher Cox wanted something more from his offseason after winning Super Bowl LII. He wanted to be faster on the field, and more agile, with better conditioning. He wanted to take his training to a new level, hopeful that the work there would show up on the football field. Three games into the 2018 season, Cox is dominating. He’s always dominated, but now he’s really, really taking over games. Cox has three quarterback sacks, 15 quarterback hurries, and five tackles for loss, three key statistical categories in which he is already tracking well ahead of his career bests (9.5 sacks, 2015; 34 quarterback hurries, 2017; 14 tackles for loss, 2015).How Doug Pederson got a huge call to go Eagles’ way - NBCSPHolding calls on defensive linemen are pretty rare; it’s not something refs are probably super focused on during games. They’re looking for holding from offensive linemen and from defensive backs. So Pederson’s bringing it up to the officials likely put it on their radar. And it helped the Eagles when they really needed it.Eagles’ offensive line can’t afford to get knocked for a loop while protecting Carson Wentz - Daily News”One is the offensive line gets beat, sack. It happens,” Pederson said. “Second one is, quarterback hangs on to the ball or tries to scramble, gets sacked. The third one is flat-out coverage. They got you wired and you’re trying to extend the play. So a little bit of all three of those [Sunday] with the five sacks. Couple situations http://www.eagleslockerroom.com/authentic-corey-clement-jersey , maybe just throw the ball away and skip it and not put yourself in that situation. But they’re all teachable and correctable and we’ll learn from them.” Wentz, who hadn’t played since Dec. 10, certainly seemed to be holding the ball longer than was optimal, and was not quite as crisp in his decision-making as he will be once he gets used to playing again. But the Colts have a big, strong defensive front, with athletic linebackers who can shoot gaps. Particularly in the second half, they won more battles against the Eagles’ vaunted offensive line than is usually the case. The Six Plays That Explain NFL Week 3 - The RingerAnd midway through the fourth, Gase dialed up the Dolphins’ version of the Philly Philly, the Philly Special variation that the Eagles ran in Week 1. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill took the snap and handed the ball to Gore, who tossed it to Wilson as he ran what looked to be an end-around play and then threw downfield to a streaking Grant for the touchdown.Winners and Losers from Titans 9, Jaguars 6 - Music City MiraclesMarcus Mariota: It’s rare that the quarterback of a game that finished 9-6 can be considered a winner, but Mariota certainly deserves to be listed here. He finished 12 of 18 for 100 yards passing and added 7 carries for 51 yards on the ground, but the stat line does little to describe how well Mariota played despite being less than 100% and facing one of the best defenses in the NFL. He also had a couple critical drops by receivers on good throws that could have extended drives. Most importantly, his throws were on target and appeared to have plenty of zip. The Titans didn’t ask him to do much with regards to attacking deep down field, but he capably executed the plays that were called. Regardless of Gabbert’s status with the concussion, I’d suspect that Mariota is back under center when the Titans take on the defending champs next week.Evan Engram injury: Tight end “week to week” with MCL sprain - Big Blue ViewNew York Giants tight end Evan Engram reportedly suffered a sprained MCL on Sunday against the Houston Texans. Per Adam Schefter, he will be considered “week to week.” Art Stapleton reported that the MRI found “no significant tears” in Engram’s right knee and that “4-6 weeks is the most accurate timetable.” [BLG Note: Eagles play the Giants in Week 6.]Report: Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee to “miss a few weeks at least” after injuring other hamstring - Blogging The BoysRapoport is hearing that the star linebacker will miss “a few weeks at least” after injuring his other hamstring during the week three defeat. Lee rebounded from leaving the Giants game with a hamstring injury by playing very well initially in the Seattle game. This is obviously not great news for a team that already has so many question marks surrounding the offensive side of the ball. [BLG Note: Terrible news for Dak Prescott.]The Rosen era is upon us: Arizona Cardinals announce Josh Rosen as starting quarterback - Revenge of the BirdsThe reason to go to Rosen is simple, he gives the Cardinals something more than Sam Bradford. Bradford has looked tentative Womens DeSean Jackson Jersey , he is statuesque in the pocket because of the injuries in his career and that has made him less effective.Report: Everson Griffen involved in incident at Vikings hotel on Saturday - Daily NorsemanHe wasn’t at U.S. Bank Stadium for Sunday’s gameWhich NFL teams are realistic trade candidates for Le’Veon Bell? - SB NationWhile it’s pretty unlikely the Steelers would move their star to a team they’ll face twice a year until the heat death of the universe, there are other destinations that could make for a win-win situation in a blockbuster deal. Nine teams in the league could absorb the rest of Bell’s contract without having to cut anyone to make room under the league’s $180.2 million cap....Social Media Information:BGN Facebook Page: Click here to like our pageBGN Twitter: Follow @BleedingGreenBGN Manager: Brandon Lee Gowton: Follow @BrandonGowtonBGN Radio Twitter: Follow @BGN_RadioFantasy Football NFL Week 3: Studs, Duds, Sleepers, & Busts Welcome to the Week 2 Edition of Studs, Duds, Sleepers, & Busts. Before we get to this weeks content, lets take a quick look back to last week:Pick of the Week: Patrick Mahomes as a sleeper for the second straight week. (49.84 standard points, 1st among QBs)For the second week in a row the young quarterback stole the show. Something tells me he won’t ever be a sleeper candidate for much longer, however.Fail of the Week: George Kittle (2.2 standard points, t-34th among WRs)Kittle took my kind words and stamp of approval last week and turned them into 22 yards on 2 catches. Yikes.Year to Date Accuracy:Week 2 Accuracy: 4 of 12 correct (33.3%)Season Accuracy: 9 of 24 correct (37.5%) Not my best work in week 2, but hey, that’s what week 3 is for right?Stud: A highly favored fantasy player who will finish the week in the top 6 at his position.QB Tom Brady, NEThrough 2 games, Brady has averaged about 21.5 points against two pretty tough defenses. This week he travels to Detroit where the hopeless Lions will struggle to contain him.RB Todd Gurley, LARGurley has a tough match up against the Chargers who have held running backs to less than 4 yards per carry, but given the volume of carries he has been getting Cameron Johnston Jersey , Gurley is a safe bet to get 20 or more points in most formats.TE Zach Ertz, PHIErtz is getting not only his buddy Carson Wentz back, but has a tasty match up against the Colts at home. After a rough start to the year, Ertz is ready to explode and finish as one of the top Tight Ends this week.Dud: A highly started player who will finish the week as a non-starter.QB Russell Wilson, SEAThe Seahawks look like a shell of their Super Bowl Champion selves and this includes Russell Wilson. In week 3, Wilson, who was dealing with a problematic Hamstring earlier in the week, will take on the Dallas Cowboys, who have been hogging the ball on offense and shutting down opposing passing games on defense. Avoid Russ this week if you can.WR Larry Fitzgerald, ARZNot only is Fitzgerald still listed as questionable, but he has had one of the worst starts to a season he’s ever seen. With just 10 catches for 104 yards and zero touchdowns through two games, look elsewhere for a wide receiver. RB Jay Ajayi, PHIAjayi will have big games this season, but given the unpredictability of Doug Pederson’s offense, I’m hesitant to rely on him. He’d make a fine FLEX play but if you’re banking on him to outscore your opponent, you could be in over your head.Sleeper:A player who is not started often but will finish the week as a starter.QB Patrick Mahomes, KCAs of this writing, Mahomes is started in only 73% of yahoo leagues. If he is on your team http://www.eagleslockerroom.com/authentic-paul-worrilow-jersey , you better start him over just about any other quarterback at this point until he cools off.TE George Kittle, SFAfter being one of my studs of the week for week 2 and playing like garbage, many fantasy managers, understandably, have benched Kittle. I advice you refrain from overreacting here and keep him on your starting line up. Kittle will also be an excellent DFS option this week given the lack of trust in him right now.D/ST Baltimore RavensAfter decimating Buffalo in week 1, the Ravens traveled to Cincinnati where they allowed the Bengals to put up 34 points. This week should be somewhere in middle of those two outcomes.Bust:A highly ranked player who will finish the week as a non starter.QB Jimmy Garoppolo, SFJimmy G-Sus is traveling to KC where he’ll face Patrick Mahomes and the smokin’ hot Chiefs.Garoppolo has yet to top 15 points in a single game through two weeks, and yet he is still rated within the top 6 on most sites. While the Chiefs have allowed a lot of passing yards so far, they won’t be that porous forever. I’d be hesitant to follow the pack regarding Jimmy G if I were you.RB David Johnson, ARZThe Cardinals are kind of like, I’m going to say it, the 2018 Browns. I don’t want anything to do with any of them, including super star running back David Johnson. I especially don’t want anything to do with them when Khalil Mack is in the conversation.K Jake Elliott, PHIElliott has been a let down through two weeks. I have personally demoted him from “I trust you like David Akers” status to a temporary wait-and-see approach. Hopefully the addition of Jordan Matthews Carson Wentz will bring Elliott back to live. Maybe Carson needs to put a game check on it, or something. As always, I cannot cover every situation in one article so please get at me on twitter (@LeeSifford) or in the comments below with your specific roster questions and I’d be glad to offer my thoughts on your situation.
